2008 RACE REGISTRATION
Registration for BAM 2008 races is open!!!. Registration is available online through active.com for all races. Registration will remain open until the race fills at 1,000 athletes or until end of day June 13th (on-site late registration available on Friday, June 13th at the expo).

PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE FIELD
2007 brought quite the professional athlete field to The Battle at Midway...we are excited to see what this years 2008 will bring! Athletes from around the world BATTLED it out last year for their portion of a $22,000 prize purse!!! Headlining the 2007 pro contingent at BAM, were world-class competitors, Emma Snowsill and Craig Walton. The 2004 Australian Olympic Team Member, Snowsill, is labeled as the highest award winning woman in Triathlon history, with gold medals at events such as the 2006 Commonwealth Games and multiple ITU World Championships. Walton, also a native of Australia, has his share of top-honors as well, being named as the 2007 Australian Sprint Champion and 2002 Winner of the prestigious Lifetime Fitness Triathlon.

For our first year, BAM’s 2007 start list boasted an impressive group of who’s who in national and international triathlon, with Olympians, world and continental champions and even Ironman champions, who all raced for that first place finish. The BAM 2007 start list was comparable to many more well-established races, such as the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon.

Some of the many other world-class professional athletes that competed in 2007 were, Leon Griffin, Pip Taylor, Lauren Groves, Luke McKenzie, David Thompson, Cameron Widoff, Stephen Hackett, Gabriela Loskotova and many more! We are excited for our pro athlete field to grow in 2008, and to see this race develop into one of the most quality competitions in the Country!
